What this site collects

Nero Picks does not ask you to create an account, and there is no comment form, newsletter, or contact form that stores what you type.

Like any website, the server that delivers these pages records basic technical information when a page loads, such as the request time, the page requested, and the browser's user agent. This is used to keep the site running and to see which guides get read.

Affiliate links

When you click an affiliate link, the destination retailer (for example, Amazon) may set cookies to attribute the visit. That cookie belongs to the retailer, not to this site, and it is governed by their privacy policy. See the Amazon Privacy Notice for how Amazon handles it.

Analytics

If analytics are added later, this page will be updated to say which service is used and what it records, before it is switched on.

Children

This site is written for adults buying their own gear and is not directed at children under 13.
